Illinois Clean Energy

Illinois Clean Energy Foundation

The Illinois Clean Energy Foundation (ICEF) was started in 1999 with an endowment of $225 from ComEd to help reduce energy demand. This program has since grown and has recently launched a Net Zero Energy Building Program that is open to all not-for-profit and municipal/public facilities.

This grant may be used in conjunction with the DCEO and ComEd Smart Ideas for Your Business Programs – sometimes funding 100% of the total project cost! Contrary to the rolling admission in the DCEO and ComEd incentive programs, this grant accepts applications only twice a year in January and July.
